Company

Burrell Overhead Door Limited based in Southern Ontario is an aggressive leader in the overhead door industry. Started in 1962 in Etobicoke, Canada, the fledgling corporation moved in 1964 to Concord, Canada, which would later become the city of Vaughan. A 1989 expansion to our Highway 7 building resulted in four to five times the usable space. An emphasis on quality maintenance and service for all types of overhead doors has resulted in a service department second to none. Our new door division is full spectrum including rolling steel shutters, fire doors, service doors, industrial, commercial and residential door products of literally every type. If a need arises for a special door product, we welcome the challenge.

Electric operation of these varied door products is achieved by utilizing operators and controls manufactured by industry leaders including two of our sister companies design.

Access and Parking Controls, a division of Burrell Overhead Door Limited, addresses the security and parking requirements of that industry. Multi-Lane revenue control, kiosk attendance or stand alone card access application are dealt with routinely.

Slide and swing gate operators including a full range of controls e.g.: intercom, closed circuit television, telephone entry, motion and loop detection as well as standard radio or card access are employed for both residential and commercial requirements to complete the full coverage of our clients requests. The customers complete satisfaction is paramount.

An innovative leader utilizing employee participation in product development, marketing strategy, idea creation and even corporation ownership has resulted in not only a stable but an enviable work force.

Burrell Overhead Door Limited has always been an equal opportunity employer whose company, as a result, has been enriched and enhanced. A work place for all.

Geographic location in an area with excellent east-west and north-south transportation routes, low taxes, good municipal government services and economic development support confirmed our original good judgement in locating in Vaughan.
